In rural areas, population decline and aging have led to a shortage of local talent and a weakening of information dissemination. In many regions, the appeal of tourism and local industries is not fully conveyed, and the number of visitors and people involved is trending downward.
At the same time, some popular destinations now face “overtourism,” where an excessive concentration of visitors disrupts the daily lives of residents. The original ideal that “tourism should be embraced by the community” is being shaken, and its sustainability is called into question.
Against this backdrop, we work alongside local communities to uncover and refine the unique appeal of each area, accompanying them from the very stage of “creating” valuable content. From there, we harness digital technology to deliver it outward in a sustainable way, connecting it to a cycle of engaged populations and local economies.
